The episode shifts to the heart of Constantinople, where Emperor Constantine has unleashed his elite guard, known for their brutal efficiency. This battalion, well-trained and determined, takes their positions in strategic locations throughout the city, making the battle even more intense and dangerous for the Ottoman army.
Sultan Muhammad, however, is not deterred. He orders his forces to maintain formation, and with a rallying cry, the Ottoman soldiers advance toward the heart of the city. The battle intensifies as both sides suffer heavy casualties, but the Ottoman forces press forward relentlessly, fueled by their devotion and belief in the Sultan’s vision.
In a powerful moment of leadership, Sultan Muhammad addresses his soldiers:
“Today, we fight not just for a city, but for the future of our empire, for the generations to come. Let history remember that we did not falter. We did not fail!”
Meanwhile, the city’s defenders put up a fierce resistance, especially around the imperial palace. As the Sultan’s forces draw nearer, Emperor Constantine, now realizing the battle is slipping away, orders his last reserves into the fray.
But the Sultan’s strategy prevails. With a masterful tactical move, the Ottoman forces break through the final line of defense, overwhelming the defenders at the palace gates. The Sultan’s forces, led by General Hasan, enter the palace grounds and engage in fierce combat with the elite guards. The fighting is intense, and both sides give everything they have.
As the battle rages on, Sultan Muhammad and Emperor Constantine come face-to-face one last time. In a quiet, intense moment, the two leaders exchange words. The Emperor, exhausted and outnumbered, says:
“You have won, Sultan. Constantinople is yours.”
Sultan Muhammad looks at the Emperor with respect and replies:
“It is not I who have won, but Allah’s will. May the city prosper under the light of Islam.”
With that, the Sultan orders his soldiers to cease fighting, and the gates of Constantinople open. The Ottoman flag rises above the city walls as the people of Constantinople stand in awe.
The episode ends with Sultan Muhammad entering the city, his army behind him, and the sound of victory ringing in the air. The camera pans over the grand city of Constantinople, now under Ottoman control, as the screen fades to black.
