💣 The Enemy Among Them?
The protagonist stopped in his tracks. “What do you mean?” he demanded, his voice tense.
Kamal hesitated for a moment, then whispered, “There’s a traitor in your team.”
Zaid narrowed his eyes. “That’s impossible. We’ve trusted each other for years!”
Kamal sighed. “You trust too easily. That’s why you’re in this mess. The enemy knew your every move before you made it. Someone close to you is feeding them information.”
A chill ran down the protagonist’s spine. If what Kamal said was true, then no one could be trusted.

🚨 The Chase Begins
Before they could discuss further, a loud explosion shook the tunnel. “They found us!” Zaid shouted.
Bullets ricocheted off the stone walls as they ran through the narrow passage. The tunnel’s exit was just ahead, but armed men were closing in from behind.
Kamal pulled out a hidden detonator. “Run ahead! I’ll take care of them!”
“No!” the protagonist protested. “We don’t leave people behind!”
Kamal smirked. “You always were too sentimental. Now go!”
He pressed the detonator, and the tunnel behind them collapsed in a massive explosion.

Escaping into an abandoned village, they took cover in a ruined house. “We need to figure out our next move,” Zaid said, catching his breath.
The protagonist looked at Kamal, still unsure if he could trust him. “Tell me everything you know. Who’s the traitor?”
Kamal looked into his eyes and said, “I can’t prove it yet. But trust me, you’ll know soon enough.”
